Soweto Food Festival Postponed

Please note that the Soweto Food Festival has had to be postponed until further notice due to logistical challenges. The Soweto Food Festival was set to be the first ever fully fledged food festival to be hosted in the township.
The organizers of the Soweto Food Festival would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. “We are obviously sad that this event will not be taking place as initially planned. However, for us, it was important that we bring a world class event to Soweto. The challenges we were faced with, made it difficult for us to proceed” said, Refiloe Mataboge, the co-organiser.
“We would like to thank all our partners and our sponsors for their belief in this project and we look forward to showcasing the best of kasi cusine” said Mataboge.
