2010 Soccer City Stadiums
Taking place from the 11th June to the 11th July 2010, the World Cup is expected to attract thousands of football fans from across the world. This tournament will be played at 10 stadiums across the country namely Johannesburg’s Soccer City, Ellis park, and the 40 000-seat Orlando Stadium, earmarked as one of the training venues for the tournament.

Kieren Perkins an Olympic 3x medalist visits South Africa
Sometime in April Joburg Tourism hosted the Perkins family in conjunction with South African Tourism Australasia office - Kieren Perkins is Olympic 3x medalist and Symantha Perkins (wife) who is in media and they stayed at the Westcliffe hotel with three kids. Symantha Perkins promised to feature their trip to South Africa on the Holiday with Kids magazine.
